<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for storing a stylet.SOLUTION: A device for storing a stylet 118 includes: a stylet 118 dimensioned and shaped for insertion to a lumen of a needle; and an end cap 110 selectively connected to the proximal end of the needle. The end cap 110 is connected to the proximal end of the stylet 118 so that when the end cap 110 is connected to the needle, the stylet 118 is extended from the end cap 110 through the lumen of the needle. The end cap 110 includes a clip mechanism for holding the distal end of the stylet 118 when the end cap 110 is parted from the needle, and the clip mechanism includes a space for allowing the distal end of the stylet 118 to pass substantially parallel to the proximal end.</p> |
