<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition promoting involucrin production and skin keratinization, enhancing barrier function and moisture holding function of the skin, and preventing or improving skin conditions such as dry skin, rough skin, atopic dermatitis and psoriasis; and a formulation suppressing frizzy hair.SOLUTION: It is found that a formulation having a protein hydrolysate from a pearl and/or pearl layer as an active ingredient which promotes involucrin production, keeps sound skin, and reinforces skin barrier function can be obtained.</p> |
