PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brace for the scoliosis capable of appropriately performing scoliosis correction with favorable wearing feeling during sleep in particular by forming tongue piece-like elastic thoracic brace piece and lumbar brace piece at a thoracic support body and a lumbar support body, with their facing inward respectively, while retaining a degree of movement freedom with respect to the body trunk.SOLUTION: A forward-openable scoliosis brace 1 is formed by integrally forming a pelvic support body 2, a spinal column support body 3, and a thoracic support body 4, with their matching the profile of a body trunk 15. The tongue piece-like elastic thoracic brace piece 7 is formed, with it facing inward, at one side of the thoracic support body 4, via a substantially laterally-facing U-shaped penetrating notch line 9. The tongue piece-like elastic pelvic brace piece 8 is formed, with it facing inward, at the pelvic support body 2 corresponding to the thoracic brace piece 7, via a substantially laterally-facing U-shaped penetrating notch line 10. |
