<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal fitting which can cope with an aluminum wire while securing electrical connectivity with a counterpart side terminal.SOLUTION: A terminal fitting 1 is connected to an aluminum wire 50 having a core wire 51 made from aluminum or an aluminum alloy, and has a terminal body 10 and a spring member 40. The terminal body 10 has a barrel part 30 connected to the core wire 51 and a cylinder part 20 connected to the counterpart side terminal. The spring member 40 is attached to the cylinder part 20, is deformed by a fitting operation with the counterpart side terminal, and is electrically connected to the counterpart side terminal by an elastic restoring force. The terminal body 10 is formed of aluminum or an aluminum alloy, and the spring member 40 is formed of iron or an iron alloy.</p> |
