<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of deterioration of a concrete electric pole, i.e., urination-caused deterioration that is steadily in progress although it is hardly noticed because of a slow speed of influence, while a roadside electric pole is constantly exposed to urination from marking instinct by male dogs, with the urination seeping into the concrete, rusting iron reinforcements therein through many years, and causing deterioration in strength of the concrete electric pole.SOLUTION: A protective wrap comprising a shield plate and a gutter is fixedly wrapped around an electric pole. Where a small amount of urination is repeated by a large number of male dogs, the shield plate first prevents it from infiltrating into the electric pole by receiving the urine into the gutter, with the urine dried and condensed to remain in the gutter, diluted during the rain, released to the ground, spread and guided to the drains, thereby preventing the urination damage of the electric pole.</p> |
