Operating method for medical X-ray diagnostic arrangement

The method involves operating an X-ray arrangement which comprises filter devices which are alternatively inserted in a radiation path of an associated radiation source. A detector arrangement comprising individual image points, receives the X-ray radiation and provides an image signal dependent on the received radiation. Devices for the image reproduction and output are connected to the detector arrangement. A first image recording of the object to be examined is performed without filter devices in the radiation path. The thereby received image signals are processed point for point to produce one or several calculated images for the production of an image to be expected as part of a second image recording corresponding to a situation of the filter device inserted in the radiation path for a second image recording. The calculated image is combined with unprocessed image signals, whereupon the calculation image is output.
