The invention relates to structural components for gear systems and can be used in reduction gears that are primarily intended for increasing the number of revolutions. The reduction gear screw is in the form of a torus, the surface of which is provided with a continuous thread extending over the entire length of the circumference of the torus. The thread on the surface of the screw can be a single thread or a multiple thread. The invention permits the continuous translational movement of the screw in the transmission unit of the reduction gear, said screw driving a converter which performs rotational movement, thus enabling the efficient working of the reduction gear and solving the problem of increasing the number of revolutions. The invention can be used in reduction gears which enable the functioning of supplementary energy sources such as wind generators.
