PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throttle valve control device superior in assemblability and maintainability, while protecting an accelerator drum and a closing spring from wind and rain. SOLUTION: This throttle valve control device is composed of the accelerator drum 19 manually operated independently of a throttle valve 3, the closing spring 29 for energizing this accelerator drum 19 toward a full closure operation position A, an accelerator sensor 33 for detecting opening of the accelerator drum 19, a throttle sensor 52 for detecting opening of the throttle valve 3, an electric motor 36 capable of driving the throttle valve 3 for opening and closing, and an electronic control unit 53 for driving the electric motor 36 on the basis of a detecting signal of the accelerator sensor 33 and the throttle sensor 52. In the throttle valve control device, a first cover 16 for defining a control room 14A between the cover and one side, is detachably fixed to one side of a throttle body 1. The first control room 14A stores the accelerator drum 19 rotatably supported by the first cover 16. The closing spring 29 is installed between the first cover 16 and the accelerator drum 19.
