PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal application device and a seal application method which properly apply a sealant.SOLUTION: A seal application device comprises: a fastener rotation device which supports a fastener so as to rotate around a center axis; and a sealant discharge device which discharges a sealant thereby applying the sealant to the fastener. The fastener rotation device includes a first holding member and a second holding member which rotatably hold the fastener and a base which supports the first holding member and the second holding member. The first holding member is attached to the base so as to be replaceable.
