The present invention relates to a potable bookrest folding flat for storage. The bookrest is capable of being supported at an angle by a holding unit while supporting plates and the holding unit are unfolded because the supporting plates are coupled to both sides of a base plate to be folded and unfolded in a hinged manner and the holding unit is inserted into a cut part, which is formed by cutting a part of the base plate, to be operated rearward in a hinged manner. When the supporting plates and the holding unit are folded, the bookrest is folded into a hexahedral shape. The bookrest can be carried with a book placed in a gap formed between the supporting plates and can be simply unfolded for use. A seating unit is coupled to the supporting plates to support the lower end of a book. A cover is placed on the seating unit to prevent pages of a book from being unintentionally turned when the book is opened for reading. Therefore, the bookrest can be easily carried because the volume for storage is minimized through the folding structure thereof and can solve the conventional problem of inconvenience by stably supporting a book. |
