PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium feeding control method, a medium feeding device and image forming apparatus, enabling a medium to be supplied at a constant interval.SOLUTION: A medium feeding control method uses: a medium cassette 120 capable of housing a plurality of mediums; a feed roller 122 for feeding the mediums from the medium cassette 120; a separation roller 123 for separating the mediums one by one; a first transfer sensor 124 for detecting the mediums in a conveyance path; and a second transfer sensor 126 for detecting the mediums on the downstream side of the first transfer sensor 124. On the basis of a timing when the first transfer sensor 124 detects a rear edge of the medium P(N-1) fed in advance, the next medium P(N)is fed by the feed roller 122. When the first transfer sensor 124 is not capable of detecting the rear edge of the medium P(N-1) fed in advance, the next medium P(N) is fed by the feed roller 122 based on a timing when the second transfer sensor 126 detects the rear edge of the medium P(N-1). In this case, the feeding speed of the medium P(N) by the feed roller 122 is accelerated. |
