PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet slide device for a vehicle capable of: suppressing a wobble in a locking member engaging a relative movement on both rails without reducing maintainability in the relative movement direction; and further stabilising the engagement of the relative movement on both rails caused by the locking member in a case where a large load is input in the relative movement direction on both rails.SOLUTION: A lock lever 30 rotates and disengages a locking hole and locking claw 13b on lock plate 39 so as to selectively lock relative movement on a lower rail 3 and upper rail 4. The lock lever 30 is rotatably connected to an upper rail 4 in a manner where: a supporting axis 22 is fixed on the side where the upper rail 4 is arranged; the supporting axis 22 is inserted into a long hole 35 arranged on the lock lever 30 so that the supporting axis 22 may move in a forth and back direction; and the supporting axis 22 is urged downward by lock spring 50. The sheet slide device comprises a wedge part 53 which restricts movement of the supporting axis 22 in the long hole 35 in the forth and back direction when a load input in forth and back direction is lower than a predetermined value. |
