<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable valve device of a simple structure.SOLUTION: A variable valve device (10) includes: a cam carrier (30) having a plurality of cams (31, 32) corresponding to valves of an internal combustion engine (100); an operation shaft (40) disposed in parallel with a cam shaft; an operation arm (80) having an engagement portion (81) for fixing an axial position of the cam carrier by being engaged with the cam carrier; and holes (82) corresponding to the cams; a driving device (50) for axially displacing the operation shaft; a solenoid (70) having a pin (72) for fixing an axial position of the operation arm by being engaged with the hole of the operation arm; and biasing members (90, 91) applying biasing force in the direction same as the displacement direction of the operation shaft to the operation arm when the operation shaft is axially displaced in a state of engaging the pin with the hole.</p> |
