<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera which includes a function capable of setting a desired area on a map, and is capable of improving operability.SOLUTION: An imager 16 outputs raw image data representing an imaging scene, and a signal processing circuit 20 converts the outputted raw image data into image data of a YUV form. At a time point when a shutter button 32sh is fully depressed, a CPU 30 records on a recording medium 38 image data for one frame outputted from the signal processing circuit 20, in a file format. When a recommended area setting operation is performed prior to fully depressing the shutter button 32sh, the CPU 30 sets onto a map a recommended area having a reference position and a spread according to the operation. Further, the CPU 30 measures a present position in parallel with processing of the imager 16 and when the measured present position satisfies a determined condition with respect to the recommended area, the CPU 30 outputs an alarm.</p> |
