<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning method and a positioning system by radio waves capable of obtaining a time stamp having a high resolution by the processing only of a low speed baseband signal and highly accurately measuring a position by a small number of times of communication.SOLUTION: The positioning system is configured to include: at least three receivers 1 to 3 of which positions are known and for simultaneously receiving radio waves and generating a time stamp; at least one reference transmitter 4 installed at a position serving as a reference; a mobile transmitter 5 installed on a movable body; and a position calculator 6 for receiving respective time stamp information from the receivers 1 to 3 and for calculating the position of the receivers. The time stamp information is a time stamp group generated by performing a correlation operation after generating an ideal phase difference waveform from in-frame data extracted from a reception frame in each of the receivers 1 to 3 and dividing the actual phase difference waveform data and the ideal phase difference waveform data of the reception frame into small units, respectively.</p> |
