<p>A method and an apparatus for wirelessly receiving electric power from a transmitter are disclosed. A power capacity is configured at a receiver based on a default power capacity known by both the receiver and the transmitter. A first value of a dependent parameter is read. The dependent parameter is associated with the electric power and varies in accordance with an independent parameter, which is adjustable by the transmitter. A maximum power capacity of the transmitter is identified based on at least the first value, a second value, and a predetermined threshold. The electric power is then received from the transmitter.</p> |
