PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass plate compatible in a high strain point and productivity of the glass plate and capable of enhancing production efficiency of a thin film solar cell.SOLUTION: The glass plate for thin film solar cells has a glass composition in which by mass%, a value of (5×[AlO]+7.5×[ZrO]-15×[NaO]-5×[KO]) is -32 to 60, and a value of (0.012×[MgO]+0.016×[CaO]+0.021×[SrO]+0.023×[BaO]+0.021×[ZrO]-[FeO] ) is 0.27 to 0.60, and a strain point of more than 580°C.
