PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a number of object detection device and program capable of detecting the number of detection objects even when there are a plurality of detection objects.SOLUTION: A number of object detection device includes: a frequency conversion part for converting Doppler signals to arbitrary reflection objects into a plurality of signals different in frequency; an independent signal decomposition part for decomposing the plurality of signals different in frequency converted by the frequency conversion part into independent signals having predetermined independency by using the time change of the amplitude of each frequency band; and a number of object detection part for detecting the number of reflection objects on the basis of the independent signals decomposed by the independent signal decomposition part.
