PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device having such a structure that an arm part supporting an illumination part is coupled with a front side of a base, and capable of restraining overturn of its own device.SOLUTION: An illumination device 1 comprises an arm part 3, a base 2 coupled with one end of the arm part 3, and an illumination part 4 coupled with the other end of the arm part 3. In a plane view, one end is coupled with a portion displaced from an area center C of the base 2 in an outer peripheral direction of the base 2. When assuming a first virtual straight line L1 passing through one end and the area center C and a second virtual straight line L2 passing through the area center C and orthogonal to the first virtual straight line L1, the illumination part 4 is positioned on a side same as one end relative to the second virtual straight line L2, and a distance between the illumination part 4 and the area center C is longer than a distance between one end and the area center C. When a side on which one end of the base 2 is coupled with the second virtual straight line L2 is assumed as a first region R1 and a side on which it is not coupled with the straight line L2 is assumed as a second region R2, a gravity center G of a weight is positioned in the second region R2. |
