The present invention relates to a perforated thin film sound absorbing cell having a line-contact structure to make acoustic energy dissipate into thermal energy in a wide frequency range using mutual friction between vibration on a thin plate and two-way transmission of sound instead of simple friction between perforations and acoustic energy as vibration on the thin plate and two-way transmission of sound through the perforations are linked together. The resonant sound absorbing cell comprises a lower plate; a side plate which has a predetermined height and which is formed along the edge of the lower plate; and a perforated upper plate seated on the top of the side plate. The upper plate is a perforated thin film on which vibration and two-way transmission of sound through the perforations are generated at the same time. The top of the side plate comes in line-contact with the upper plate. |
