The component comprises a plastic layer (11) having a visible surface (11a), fiber-reinforced layers (12) formed on the visible surface in opposed side of the plastic layer, and a core (13) placed in the fiber-reinforced layers. The core is formed of a metal foam with an open-pore structure. The plastic layer and the fiber composite layers are integrally connected to each other. The core is movable between the first fiber composite layer and the second fiber composite layer. The second composite layer is placed on one of the first fiber composite layers opposite to the core.
