<p>Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for setting a keyboard. The invention provides a setting method and device for a virtual keyboard, wherein buttons in a virtual keyboard can be adjusted to prevent password crack software from cracking a password by continuously trying to input a command sequence. The method comprises: in a current keyboard layout, receiving a character string formed by key assignments of buttons selected, and executing password verification; when it is detected that the character string matches a predetermined password, passing the password verification of the character string ; when it is detected that the character string does not match the predetermined password, resetting the keyboard layout and changing the key assignments of the buttons corresponding to the virtual keyboard; and in the reset keyboard layout, receiving the character string formed by key assignments of buttons selected to continuously execute password verification.</p> |
