The commodity information output device 200 comprises: commodity specification image acquisition means for acquiring a commodity specification image by imaging a subject for specifying a commodity on the basis of an instruction from a user; commodity information request means for transmitting the commodity specification image acquired by the commodity specification image acquisition means to the commodity information provision device and requesting commodity information on the commodity specified on the basis of the commodity specification image; commodity information receiving means for receiving the commodity information from the commodity information provision device; and commodity information presentation means for outputting the commodity information received by the commodity information receiving means and presenting the information to a user.
