PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin having excellent color tone, transparency, heat resistance, antiweatherability and mechanical strength, and having a low residual low molecular weight component.SOLUTION: Provided is a polycarbonate resin that at least comprises at least a structural unit derived from dihydroxy compound having a moiety represented by the following formula (1), and contains at least one phosphorus compound selected from the group consisting of phosphoric acid, phosphorous acid, hypophosphorous acid, polyphosphoric acid, phosphonic acid, phosphonic acid esters, acidic phosphoric acid esters, and aliphatic cyclic phosphite esters, when calculated as a content of phosphorus atom, by 1 ppm by weight or more and 8 ppm by weight or less. |
