<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package container of a glass roll which stores the glass roll and stably holds a core material of the glass roll.SOLUTION: A package container 20 includes: a box 22 forming a storage room 24; and a lid member 26 which seals an upper end opening of the box 22. In the package container 20, a pair of placement bases 80, on which both end parts 12a, 12b of a core material 12 of a glass roll 10 are placed, is provided at a bottom part of the storage room 24 of the box 22. A pair of clamp mechanisms 100, which forms holding parts for holding the core material 12 of the glass roll 10, is provided at the pair of placement bases 80. The clamp mechanisms 100 include: clamp members 120 supported by brackets 110 respectively fixed to the pair of placement bases 80; operation members 130; and link members 140. In the glass roll 10 stored in the package container 20, an inner peripheral surface 12g of the core material 12 is clamped to the placement bases 80 by the clamp mechanisms 100.</p> |
