摘要 [Problem] To provide a specimen holding carrier and a fluorescence detector using the same capable of suitably and efficiently irradiating a sample with light, over an entire region from the inner circumference to the outer circumference of the specimen holding carrier. [Solution] A biosensor substrate (10) comprises a base substrate (11) on which excitation light is incident, a track formed on the base substrate (11), and a plurality of wells (13) that are disposed on the base substrate (11) and that accommodate the specimen. The region in which the wells (13) are disposed is partitioned into a plurality of zones in the radial direction, and the wells (13) are disposed in each zone so as to be arranged in the circumferential direction. While excitation light scans one zone, the biosensor substrate (10) is driven at a constant angular velocity. The speed set for each zone differs between zones, and the angular velocity is lower for zones that are further toward the outer circumferential side.
