Provided is a method for producing a compound represented by formula (I) (wherein R1 and R2 may be the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom or the like, and Z represents an optionally substituted aryl group or the like) or a salt thereof, or the like. The production method comprises: (i) a step wherein a compound represented by formula (II) (wherein R1 and R2 are as defined above, R3 represents a lower alkyl group, and X represents a halogen atom or the like) is reacted with a compound represented by formula (III) (wherein Z is as defined above) or a salt thereof in the presence of a base, thereby obtaining a compound represented by formula (IV) (wherein R1, R2, R3 and Z are as defined above) or a salt thereof; and (ii) a step wherein the compound represented by formula (IV) or a salt thereof is processed with an acid or a base, thereby obtaining a compound represented by formula (I).
