The component holder (17) has a damping element (2) arranged at the two opposite edges of a support plate (1) for supporting a profiled rail (4). A multi-stage bearing surface (6) is provided on the inner side (9) of the respective damping element. A portion (6a) of the bearing surface is located higher than the rest of the bearing surface. The profiled rails have sidewalls (23) which are arranged perpendicular to the support plates, for fixing the components.
