摘要 <p>The present disclosure provides a novel semiconductor light emitting diode which has excellent current spreading capabilities and allows efficient heat discharge through a lower substrate having excellent thermal conductivity. The semiconductor light emitting diode enables uniform distribution of current flowing through semiconductor layers while minimizing loss of an active layer due to mesa etching and the like, thereby increasing an effective light emitting area. In addition, the semiconductor light emitting diode is provided at a lower side thereof with a substrate having excellent thermal conductivity and thus efficiently dissipates heat generated from the semiconductor layers therethrough, thereby improving durability of the light emitting diode.</p>
