<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a client/server type input method editor having security, portability and robustness.SOLUTION: The input method editor includes a client program and a server program. The client program makes a computer execute processing for transmitting a key input event by interprocess communication, processing for receiving display information corresponding to the key input event by the interprocess communication, and processing for displaying information according to the display information. The server program makes the computer execute processing for receiving the key input event by the interprocess communication, processing for switching the key input event with corresponding character information, and processing for returning display information including the character information by the interprocess communication within a sandbox environment.</p> |
