PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-display device and a tool providing method of the multi-display device that can provide a variety of tool sets such that a user can intuitively and conveniently control an application in the multi-display device.SOLUTION: The multi-display device has: a first body that includes a first display part; a second body that includes a second display part; a hinge part that connects the first body and the second body; and a control unit that when a user operation for displaying the tool set is input, displays the tool set composed of a plurality of tools corresponding to an operation state of the multi-display device on at least one screen of the first display part and the second display part, and when one tool is selected by the tool set, performs an operation corresponding to the selected tool. A display position of the tool to be displayed by the tool set is variable.
