<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit a clip to a clip groove even if the clip has variance in outer diameter.SOLUTION: A clip 20 is reduced in diameter and held obliquely in a clip holder 30 abutting on one end of a pin hole 16, an insert shaft 40 and a backup shaft 50 are moved forward from both sides in the direction of the center axis L of the pin hole 16, and the clip 20 is moved onto a clip groove 18 to be fitted. At this time, the insert shaft 40 and backup shaft 50 are provided with a first press part 60 and a second press part 70 respectively, and parts nearby both joints 22, 22 are pressed individually from opposite sides and thereby deformed to be spread in the direction of the center axis L. Consequently, the clip 20 deforms in three dimensions to greatly decrease in diameter, so even when a diameter reduction limit out diameter D4 is larger than the inner diameter D1 of the pin hole 16, the clip is rotated in the pin hole 16 and erected to be fitted wholly in the clip groove 18.</p> |
