<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power supply to first control means when an image forming apparatus operates in a power saving mode, and make image forming means execute a specific operation without using the first control means in the power saving mode.SOLUTION: A power source 60 supplies power so as to maintain a normal power state in which a controller 11 can control a printer part 14 when the printer part 14 operates in a normal power mode, and supplies power so as to maintain a state in which the controller 11 cannot control the printer part 14 in a power saving state, but a power source control part 61 can control the printer part 14, when the printer part 14 operates in a power saving mode. The power source control part 61 is characterized in having a configuration to control the power source 60 so as to supply power to the printer part 14 in a specific timing when an image forming apparatus operates in the power saving mode, and control the printer part 14 so as to make the printer part 14 execute a specific operation.</p> |
