摘要 Disclosed are a magnesium (Mg) alloy and a manufacturing method thereof. The Mg alloy has a composition including, by weight, 4% to 10% of Sn, 0.05% to 1.0% of Ca, 0.1% to 2% of at least one element selected from the group including Y and Er, the balance of Mg, and the other unavoidable impurities. The Mg alloy includes an Mg2Sn phase having excellent thermal stability, and is capable of being heat treated at a temperature of 480° C. or more.
