A conventional flat panel radiator is located by mounting brackets allowing the radiator to lie in a substantially horizontal (flat) plane. A thermally insulated base 1 may have a series of grooves 2 therein into which at least one fixing bolt 3 is located. Mounting plates 4 are located via the fixing bolt 3. The groove 2 provides adjustment in one axis and a plurality of movable brackets 6,7,8 and 9 provide adjustment in a perpendicular axis and support a first end of a radiator via yokes, see figure 7z. A second series of adjustable brackets, a, b, e, f supports the opposing end of the radiator via yokes c and d. The brackets may be height adjustable see figure 2F and may be sprung mounted see figure 2D. In use the radiator lies substantially flat on the base and not vertically as in conventional usage.
|
