<p>A multiple-use device for fragrancing fabrics in a tumble drying process, comprises an outer shell 1 comprising within it a replaceable capsule (4, fig 2), which comprises a pseudoplastic gel. The outer shell has openings 3 that allow air flow between the outside of the shell and the capsule, and the gel comprises a wax component, a perfume component and a rheological modifier. The capsule allows vaporised perfume from the gel to pass to the exterior of the capsule during the tumble drying process, and the wax component has a melting temperature of less than 100°C. Preferably, the at least one perfume has a boiling point of 240ºC to 280ºC, and the wax is a stearate, preferably glycerol stearate. The capsule may comprise a porous hydrophobic structure, such as a high weight polyolefin. Preferably the capsule is substantially cylindrical and has a lid (5, fig 2).</p> |
