A blu-ray disk player is disclosed. The blu-ray disk player comprises: a mounting unit; a buffer unit for loading a disk; a control unit which loads a MPEG stream file stored in a blu-ray disk according to the present invention to the buffer unit when the blu-ray disk is mounted to the mounting unit; a filtering unit for detecting video data and subtitle data respectively from the file loaded to the buffer unit; a video processing unit for generating video frames by decoding the video data; a data processing unit for generating subtitles by decoding the subtitle data; a mixing unit for adding the subtitles to the video frames; and a display unit for displaying the video frames with the subtitles added.
