The gear leg integrates a shock absorber and is mounted in rotation around a leg axis (AT). A distance (D1) between another leg axis (AJ) and a clevis pin (AA) and a distance (D2) between the former leg axis and a strut axis (AC) are higher than distance (D3) between the strut axis and the clevis pin and a distance (D4) between the former leg axis and the latter leg axis.
