LIQUID SCINTILLATOR

摘要

The invention relates to materials for scintillation technique, in particular to compositions of liquid scintillators that can be used for recording high energy elementary particles (obtained at accelerators or which are components of space radiation). A liquid scintillator comprises tert-butyltolyene as first matrix, diphenylmethane as second matrix and 2-phenyl-5-(4-biphenylyl)oxazole as an activator at specified ratio of components. The technical result is in development of inexpensive and available liquid flameproof scintillator with high scintillation efficiency.
