The immersion bath comprises a container (1) for a process liquid (2), a holder provided with a carrier (5) for receiving one of workpieces (4), and a lifting device (6) for lowering of the holder from a first position above the liquid level of the process liquid into a second position of the process liquid. The holder is connected to a rotating and displacement mechanism. The rotating and displacement mechanism moves the holder by a setting stroke of the lifting device, extends from the first position to the second position, and rotates the holder above the liquid level by means of a pivoting movement of 180° and lowers the holder with a translational movement in the process liquid. |
