PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform sheet-feed control considering time required for a post process without allowing productivity to be compromised in a printer that performs two-sided printing by alternatively feeding a printing sheet from a feed part and a one-side-printed sheet from an inversion part.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a printing part for performing two-sided printing by applying a print process to a printing sheet supplied by a feed part 23 and applying a print process to a one-side-printed sheet fed after an inversion part 26 inverting the one-side-printed sheet front-to-back; a control part 27 for performing control so as to alternatively repeat the print process applied to the printing sheet from the feed part 23 and the print process applied to the one-side-printed sheet; a post-process time obtainment part 28 for obtaining post-process time for an individual two-sided-printed sheet; and a feed timing setup part 29 for setting a feed interval of printing sheets from the feed part 23 on the basis of the post-process time for each two-side-printed sheet and calculating a sheet interval between the printing sheet from the feed part 23 and a one-side-printed sheet on the basis of the post-process time. |
