PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden of setting operation and the like performed by a network operator to disconnect and establish a path.SOLUTION: A communication device for functioning as an end point of a path in a communication network comprises: priority determination means for determining which of a first path and second path is prioritized, when a request for establishing the second path with a second opposite device is received in a state in which the communication device has established the first path with a first opposite device; and pass control means for establishing the second path while disconnecting the first path, when the priority determination means determines that the second path is prioritized over the first path.
