PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge device capable of continuously recording a high quality image.SOLUTION: In an inkjet head 200 in which a plurality of head modules 210 are joined with each other, the position of each of the head modules 210 that are mounted on a base frame 212 is detected at a predetermined detection timing and stored. Then, it is determined whether or not position displacement greater than the allowable has occurred in each of the head modules 210 on the basis of the stored position information of each of the head modules 210. When the position displacement greater than the allowable has occurred in each of the head modules 210, warning is issued. |
