<p>Disclosed is a method and device for transmitting a state of a wireless network cell, the method comprises: when determining to transmit the state of the wireless network cell, an access network device adds the state of the wireless network cell to the protocol head of a uplink data packet; the access network device transmits the uplink data packet in whose protocol head the state of the wireless network cell is added to a core network device. In the embodiment of the invention, by carrying the state of the wireless network cell (e.g. the congestion state of the wireless network cell) in the protocol head of the uplink data packet, thereby under the condition of not increasing the signaling overhead, the core network device acquires the state of the wireless network cell in real time, hence the signaling overhead can be reduced when the state of the wireless network cell is transmitted.</p> |
