PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device used for mainly operating various electronic apparatuses capable of various and reliable operation with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: Control means 20 detects an operation position on a touch panel 18 based on a change of capacitance between plural upper conductive layers 12 and lower conductive layers 14 and controls a display element 19 to display a character menu at the operation position and adjacent plural character menus in an enlargement mode. When a user makes a proximity operation using a finger on the touch panel 18 above a desired character menu displayed on the display element 19, in addition to the selected character menu, adjacent plural character menus also displayed being enlarged. The character can be selected by moving the finger without separating the finger once away from the touch panel 18. The input device capable of various and reliable operation is achieved with a simple configuration. |
