A data delivery system in which retransmission traffic can be reduced when delivering data by multicast. A wireless device (101) has: a wireless signal reception unit that decodes a wireless signal; a priority signal transmission/reception unit that obtains data to be delivered; a delivery status management unit that maintains a management table; a proxy delivery decision unit that decides on a data retransmission or a proxy delivery; a proxy delivery wireless device selection unit that selects the proxy delivery wireless device; a delivery method selection unit that selects the data delivery method for the proxy delivery wireless device; and a wireless signal transmission unit that modulates the data and transmits a wireless signal. Another wireless device is provided with: a wireless signal reception unit that receives the wireless signal and decodes the same into data; a storage unit that stores the decoded data; a proxy delivery unit that delivers the data from the storage unit to a subordinate wireless device; a retransmission decision unit that decides on a data retransmission or a data delivery status notification; and a wireless signal transmission unit that modulates the data and transmits a wireless signal.
