<p>The present invention relates to windows and doors that are equipped with auto-closure sash by including a rain sensor that detects rainwater on one side of windows and doors to close an open sash in case of rain. The present invention comprises: a window frame (110) that includes multiple rails (111); a sash (120) that is installed to be open and shut by sliding on the rails; a means of sensing rainwater (200) that is installed in one side of the sash (120) to measure the amount of rainwater; a driving motor (300) that is installed in one side of the window frame (110) and operated selectively by the sensing signal from the means of sensing rainwater (200); and a means of transmitting power (400) that converts a rotary motion of the driving motor (300) to a linear reciprocating motion in order to close the open sash (120). According to the present invention, when a person goes out leaving windows open in case of a sudden rain, the means of sensing rainwater measures the amount of rain and, if the amount of rain exceeds the predetermined amount, it operates the driving motor, which is connected to the sash through the means of transmitting power, to automatically close the sash.</p> |
