PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gaming machine having diversified display patterns of a special symbol, while suppressing the increase of data capacity. SOLUTION: The gaming machine includes: a control unit for executing control processing relating to a game, including lottery processing; a first display unit including a plurality of light emitting elements and displaying symbols such as numbers; and a second display unit including a plurality of light emitting elements. The result of the lottery processing includes a first random number for determining the display pattern of the first display unit, and a second random number for determining the display pattern of the second display unit, the first random number is converted based on the second random number, the converted first random number is converted into a plurality of bit values corresponding to the plurality of light emitting elements of the first display unit, lighting or extinction of the plurality of light emitting elements of the first display unit are controlled based on the plurality of converted bit values, the lighting or extinction of the plurality of light emitting elements of the second display unit are controlled based on the plurality of bit values included in the second random numbers.
