An information display method of a mobile terminal includes the steps of: displaying contents in a first display area of a display unit and the information of the contents in a second display area of the display unit; selecting information upon detecting a touch interaction; unfolding the sub-information of the selected information in a moving direction to display the sub-information upon detecting the movement of the touch interaction; and returning the unfolded sub-information in the original from when the touch interaction is released.
