PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-ganged element in which a stress generated due to mutual restraint of the inactive parts of a piezoelectric element can be eliminated while enhancing the workability of adhesion work, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: A multi-ganged element telescoping upon application of a voltage comprises: a plurality of piezoelectric elements 110 stacked in series; a plate 200 having an area smaller than the region of the facing surface of the piezoelectric elements 110, and provided between the plurality of piezoelectric elements; and an adhesive for coupling the plurality of piezoelectric elements 110 along with the plate 200. Consequently, stress generated due to mutual restraint of the inactive parts of the piezoelectric element 110 can be eliminated while the workability of adhesion work is enhanced.
